The Beginning of Something New
Before we could leave work was not fully completed on the classroom, but we held an opening ceremony, hopefully the first of many. A ribbon was cut, signifying a promise of the work to come, and the potential made possible by the classrooms.
When the classes were ready for use, we came up with a surprise for the students. 100 children from standards 6, 7 and 8 had a party with bread and soda to celebrate the new classes. A staple many American households take for granted, bread is a rarley enjoyed treat in the village. Needless to say the students were excited to finally see the new classes.
And here are new classes.
The children saying thank you for their new classrooms.
